Ain’t No Monster Mash: Better Music for Your Halloween Party, Day 2 of 13

Another song you will likely hear at whatever Halloween party you attend (or host) is “I Put a Spell On You” by Screamin’ Jay Hawkins. While I definitely don’t recommend cutting such a classic single from your playlist, I do suggest adding its B-side, “Little Demon.” Both songs should have been hits, particularly the more danceable “Demon.” Apparently just a little too outrageous for their time, neither made a dent on any chart.
